Treasures from Yesteryear

I have a copy of this book that is signed by Sharon Newman for those who might be interested.

I am clearing out my quilting library.  Some of the books I will be listing are new and others have been in my collection for some time.

I have taken several classes from Sharon Newman the author of this book.  She is a talented lady who knows her stuff when it comes to antique quilts.  If you have some antique blocks you have been hesitant to put together take a look at this book.  If you just have an appreciation of the old quilts she will show you how to create a terrific look-alike.  There are 12 complete quilt plans that include templates and piecing instructions for making new blocks that look like the old ones including Garden Maze, Sunbonnet Sue, Colonial Ladies, Dresden Plate and many more.  Both piecing and appliqué patterns are represented. Full size patterns are included on a pull out sheet inside the book.

Published in 1995 by That Patchwork Place.  Book is soft cover measuring approximately 8 1/2 x 11"and contains 96 pages.  It is in like new condition.
